Genesys is giving away a free Wireless Sensor and $5000 of support toward customisation of the platform for your bespoke sensing application. Genesys is using this survey to better understand the needs of its customers and to rapidly develop the features of its platform. The more detailed and useful your answer, the better the chances of you winning a free wireless sensor. We will treat your submission as in-confidence.

 

Consider the following in your submission:

  • In considering the winner, weight will be given to the completeness/detail of the submission, the innovativeness of the application, the commercial potential and the preparedness of the applicant.

  • Consider providing information about the purpose of your project, your custom sensor and any supporting off-the-shelf sensors, communication/data/memory/sampling/display/powering requirements, and any enclosure customisation required for your use case. Include web links to your project if available.

  • Consider providing details on your business plan and ability to leverage this device to further your pathway to commercialisation.

  • Email further detail if necessary to enquiries@genesysdesign.com.au making it clear this is for the WWS Competition (include in the subject line)

This promotion is being run in conjunction with the launch of the Genesys Wireless Sensing Platform (also known as they Genesys Wireless Wearable Sensor).

The following rules apply:

  • Individuals and companies are eligible, anywhere in the world.

  • Entry is by completion of this form or by emailing details to enquiries@genesysdesign.com.au

  • Winning participants must sign an agreement, setting out the terms and conditions on the use of the Wireless Sensor platform in order to receive the prize.

  • Genesys has the right to use the content on any submission for the purposes of business planning. 

  • Participants may make multiple entries, with each entry corresponding to a a different device or application. 

  • The current competition opens on 13 December 2023 and closes 31 January 2024. The results of the current competition will be awarded and announced on the Genesys blog in early February. This competition may be run multiple times through 2023-24.

  • Participants must claim the prize within three months of notification.

  • The submission deemed by Genesys to be the best application of the WWS technology will be awarded the free Wireless Sensor. Genesys Electronics Design is the sole arbiter of how it will award prizes.

  • Genesys will award at least one Wireless Sensor unit as part of this competition. It may, at its sole discretion, award more units to submissions judged to have very high merit. If the first place recipient declines to go forward with using the prize, it will be awarded to the second place, and so on.

  • Genesys will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any damages that may occur in the use of the Wireless Sensor

  • Any disputes in regard to this competition will be resolved firstly by appointment of an independent mediator. Failing that, resolution will conducted in the courts of NSW, Australia.
